Door Lock Actuator

Guys,

I have now had three door locks go out on me. A few months ago, my front driver's side door lock started slipping and would not lock all the way. It would sound like a gear was spinning but wouldnt actually grab and lock the door. So, i figured something happened to the door lock actuator and needed to be replaced. Got a quote from dealership at $340 to replace it.

Well...two weeks ago the front passanger side lock went out without any warning (no sound at all...just doesnt work).

Yesterday, my driver's side rear lock went out with no warning. I've never had a problem like this with any car i've ever owned. This is a $38k car....what the F#$@....

Could this be something electrical or am i going to have to spend a grand to have three actuators replaced?

Is there a good walk through with pictures on how to get the door panels off for a 7th gen maxima?

I've seen very few posters here with even one doorlock problem in the 4 1/2 years the 7th gen has been on the street. To have three on one car tells us the problem is probably not the locks, but something haywire electrically, and the problem may not be inside the doors, but in some computer elsewhere in the car.

Mine have started squeaking, and the wife reported that the passenger door lock was jammed the other day. She had to force it to get it moving.

I have a 2011 model, and my driver and rear passenger doors don't work anymore either.

Do I just have to bite the bullet and pay for a replacement? This is soooooo wack.
