Is there a way to disable the chatty phone system?

Hi all,

I own a 2012 Maxima with everything but the Nav. What I've noticed is that each time I fire up my hands free phone system with Bluetooth the car goes thru its usual speech of Available commands are blah blah and so on. Is there any way to disable that so I can quickly just say what I want versus waiting on it to finish?

Thanks!

Just hit the phone button again to skip to the talk mode.

I have been avoiding the bluetooth. I think it gets worst in the S model

I just do this with my S model and it works fine. The call quality is excellent as well.

Minimize Voice Feedback

I'm not sure if your model has this feature, but my 2012 SV with nav allows you to change a setting called "minimize voice feedback." See attached image from owner's manual.
