Climate Control settings

Has anyone encountered the situation where the settings default to something else if the car is re-started?

Mine defaults to where the passenger side control is enabled, but the driver side is switched off. No big deal, of course, as I can press the button to turn it back on (life is tough ). But just curious why it does not maintain the settings I want.

your car is still in Dealer mode...there's a jumper that you need to pull iirc, under the hood. Search around for "dealer / inventory mode" or something like that.

jumper should be located in a panel under or near your stearing wheel.

There was talk about this before but regarding a different problem. Sometimes dealers forget to pull the jumper out when a car is sold.

It looks like a big white plastic clip.
