Display screen gone out

Has anyone had any trouble with their navigational display screen? The wife came in this afternoon and said hers went out. She went to back up, looked over for the camera and it was blank. We have a 2011 sv and this is the first major problem we have had with it.

I would first clean the camera lens on the trunk and see if it makes a difference.

One time I was driving and the screen went black and my music shut off and the system rebooted while driving came back up with the little nissan logo and everything like you had just turned the car on... Only issue ive ever had. I don't think you need to be worried.

Is the screen getting power?
You can check this by looking at the screen closely or the edges closely and looking for back light glow on the edges. If you see some lights, try pressing the brightness button, and see if it turns back on. If you hold the brightness button down, it just displays a blank screen, but iirc it still provides power to the back light.

If it is completely powerless, then I really have no idea.

I had 2 problems with mine, one time it went totally blank, no picture or time in the corner, took it to the dealer, guess what, turned the car off, when the service advisor come to look at it turned it on and it was working. Then about 3 months later it got hung up on "calculating" I pulled off the road, turned the car off, restarted it and the nav worked fine. So i guess unless it craps out that nothing can be done with it, Can't fix it if it aint broke.
