When I either select USB as a source (with flash drive inserted) or insert flash drive I get the screen to select audio or video. i select audio. Screen then says Reading USB. But 4 times out of five it just sits there. I have to remove and reinsert the drive several times. Eventually it will read and start playing within a couple seconds. Frustrating since if I turn off the radio or car I have to go through the process again if I want to use the USB again.

What is causing this and what can I do to getthis working reliably?
