So I'm looking into making HIDs one if my 1st mods on my stock S. now my question is I like the 6000k, do most ppl run 6000k as there high and low beam? Or a 5000k at low then 6000k as high?.. Also if I was to set up some Halos will that interfere?.. Thanks for any info!!

 

Most just run low and 6000k. I do also.. As for halo they shouldn't interfere but the guru's will

6000k is a popular hid color for the low beams and fogs which is what I have. As far as the halos, I have them wired seperately altogether so they don't interfere with the headlights ..

 

Yes, I'd definitely agree 6K is very popular, just a hint of blue! But if you looking for the brightest light go with a 5k!!

 

5k Osram CBIs, nice beautiful color flicker and bright, best of both worlds.

 

I put 6000k on my stock Stock S and I love it...just took forever but it was a good price.
I recommend 6000k 35w (blue/white)

While I was at it w was thinkin if saving some $ and painting the housing (probly black maybe a lil red trim for when I do the brakes), any suggestions?
