Help! Having problems with my sunroof!

I have an '11 SV. The sunroof won't open with one "click" anymore. Instead, it takes me about 10-12 clicks to open and close. This happened previously and I took it in and they said it had something to do with the battery being reset? Does anyone know of a way to fix this on my own? I apologize if this has already been posted, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not sure on the max but I've had this happen on my other car. The instructions were in the owners manual. Not sure if you checked there yet but might be worth a look.

Did the same thing happen with the auto up/down on your windows?

Try this: with it closed all the way, push to open it and hold the button for at least 10-15 seconds. Then do the same thing in the other direction (with all the way open, hold the close button).

Not guaranteed to work, but, that's the process for resetting the auto up/down for the windows, and I know that needs to be reset sometimes after disconnecting the battery. Good luck.

No, at least not yet.

I'll try what you said and let you know how it worked. Thanks!

Be careful I had a sunroof problem with my last car and it got stuck open in the end the dealership had to install a new one.

Unfortunately, it didn't work. I called the dealership and they told me to click it all the way open and then all the way shut to reset it. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. Looks like I'll be taking it back in to get "reset" -- whatever that means.
