Bluetooth alternatives?

I really wish I had bluetooth in my vehicle so that I wouldnt have to keep plugging my phone up to that cord. Does anybody know a way I can get bluetooth in my Max?

You could go with one of Jabras speakerphones. I've used them in other vehicles. They connect to your phone via Bluetooth so no cable. If you get the right model, it will pump the incoming calls through the cars audio system using a fm transmitter, again no wires. Mounts on your sun visor. You can also use this set up to play music from your phone through the car audio.

Do you have an iPhone by any chance? From what I understand the new software does not allow you to add your phone as a bluetooth streaming device.

I do have a iPhone 5 and that works fairly well with the bluetooth in my 2012 Max. I have also synced that phone with a Jabra speakerphone in my wife's car and it works well on that as well.

I saw a review yesterday on CNet for a GoGroove SmartMini Aux product. You may want to take a look at cnet.com and read their reviews. Didn't sound like a perfect product, but then, to each their own!

I just purchased the Belkin F8Z492-P Bluetooth Music Receiver for my S model. This will work for now until I upgrade my audio next year sometime.

I can second this. I have all my music on a thumb drive I leave plugged in the USB port, but then I've got a BB Gateway plugged in to my RCA inputs in case I want to stream Pandora or Slacker or whatever. Of course you still have to control it off your phone/device, but works like a champ.
