I ordered on Friday of last week. Stillen said that they would ship out today. The parts were ordered through adrenaline motorsports in St. Peters, MO. Its great to have a stillen dealer just 15 min away! cant wait to have some fresh pics after paint and install

 

Josh, I'm wondering if Stillen can offer a painted lip at extra cost. That would eliminate the hassle of hunting for a local paint shop. If we pre-pay for the color of choice, that takes care of the risk of unsold inventory on your end. Not sure if this is a workable idea.

We have dabbled with that in the past 25 years, but unfortunately it ends up complicating things. From Nissan's being slightly different in their colors, and things not matching up (and subsequently being returned), to parts being damaged in shipping, it's just faster and easier to get the results you're looking for from a local shop you trust.

We want you to have as much pride in your kit as we took in designing it, and you'll typically get the best results that way.

I'm really considering buying the Stillen Body Kit for 2013 Maxima S. It's seems to be the best looking kit I've seen so far. However, my car seems to already have factory side skirts (I bought it new, no previous owners). Does this mean I would have to remove and replace them or can I get away with ordering the other pieces I need separately? Also will I have the "lowering effect" equally all around? For example, if I get the front lip only, will the front end of the car look lower/closer to the ground than the rest of the car?

 

Welcome, newbie. There are 1,001 pictures here and elsewhere online with cars with only the front lip installed. IMO I think it looks great with the lip only and does not drastically lower the look of the front of the car compared to the rest. As for the side skirts the new stillen skirts will replace the ones currently on the car from the factory as the stillens do not just attach to the existing skirts.
