Very nice! I think the trunk spoiler gives the car a completely different look!

It does give the car a different look, I wish we had more options though for the 6th Gen.

thanks everyone...It was a great deal....and it comes painted to your original color code....I installed it myself but rough estimate I would say anywhere from 50-130 depending on where you go...average usually $100.

Cool man, I got the exact same one you did. It was $130 at the time and I was surprised how well the color was matched. In hindsight, I would've hit it with one more clear coat though (it is slightly scratched at the left "tip"). Meh.

Left the factory third brake light as well.

The OEM spoiler requires weather stripping and a wire harness. Was this included with this kit?

If I am going to drill holes in my trunk I want to make sure no water is getting under the spoiler and into those holes.

When you get your tint, they may not remove your third brake light. So if you take your third brake light out later, there will be a untinted space where the third brake light was. So if you are going to keep it, keep that in mind.

Honestly it was too much to get to te brake light I didn't know which wires to cut so I ran it to the drivers side taillight and works fine!

All the supplies come and even some styrofoam looking gasket but works fine I sprayed it down with water and no leak

Looks good, I've had this seller on my watch list on eBay just haven't purchased! How hard was install? I need to find a place to install it, I'm guessing the dealer would tax the hell out of me to install!

Install is straightforward. Just make sure you align the spoiler properly and take care while drilling. I had to buy a larger drill bit for the frame portion of the trunk (inside, to clear for the screws). From there, it helps to deburr the holes, treat with anti rust coating/primer, then put the spoiler on and run the break light cables through. Come to think of it, running the cable through the oem wiring grommets was a PITA - worth it though. They were tapped into the center in-cabin brakelight. I think the whole spoiler is held down by five screws/bolts.

Again, be careful and take care when drilling. Instructions note to first drill with a smaller bit, then follow up with the larger one (for the outer hull). I suggest the same for the inner frame which is much harder to drill into. I ended up punching a miniature dent into the hull from the inside. Thankfully, it's covered by the spoiler... but it sucks to know its' there.

It's scary drilling into your own car

You should be able to tap the center brake light from the trunk. Use quicksplice wiretaps (
like these like these
) so you don't have to cut anything.
