OEM Ballast issues

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-NEW-OEM-04-12-Nissan-Maxima-Xenon-BALLASTS-HID-BULBS-KIT-CONTROL-UNIT-SET-/350650162869?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2012%7CModel%3AMaxima&hash=item51a460deb5&vxp=mtr
So I bought the above kit thinking it would just be a direct plugin. Unfortunately the bulbs do not mount in the headlight assembly and the plug for the factory halogen does not plug into the ballast. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions in terms of how I can get this ballast wired and a cheap site to order the proper bulbs.

I can only recommend theretrofitsource.com.
They should have the right re-based HID bulbs for you, as well as a pigtail harness to plug into the ballasts. I doubt they have something that goes directly from stock harness to the OEM plug.

Starting to think I screwed myself ordering that OEM ballast kit.

The bulbs are DS2 and do not mount in the headlight assembly. The ballast uses a different plug and the wiring that comes out of the ballast has a box(igniter?) at the end that the bulb plugs into. If I swap bulbs then the igniter will not plug in.

I wonder if its not too late to return the kit.

Think I found my solution if I cannot return this kit.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-AFTERMARKET-XENON-BULB-OEM-D2S-D2R-BALLAST-ADAPTER-AMP-CONNECTOR-WIRE-HARNESS-/400459802275?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d3d43a6a3
This solves the D2S igniter issue. I can plug this into the igniter and then into new bulbs since the D2S's I have do not appear to mount in the assembly at all.

Also I will need this to plug into the H11 connector and then into the Matsu****a ballasts. Raises the price of this upgrade to $400. Not exactly what I had in mind when I started this.

I would try to return everything first.
Then get these:
Bulb
Ballast

If you cannot return them, sell your bulbs on here or ebay it, then email the retrofit source if they can work with you to change these to H11:
Wire Harness
Edit: Forgot the ballast to bulb adapters: Here
and use the bulbs from above.

Do you have the halogen headlights? Those take the h11 bulbs which have a different socket in the headlight than the d2s... That may be an issue

Yeah I have the halogens. I thought the headlight assembly was the same for both Halogen and Xenon. Whoops. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I think that fix will work. hopefully I can get some money back on the D2S Philips bulbs I will have left over.

On the bright side my fog light kit install went very smoothly. The combo switch was much easier to swap than I thought it would be.
