New Brakes and Painted Calipers

Well here are some shots of my brake job and Caliper painting I did this past weekend, I should have taken before shots but I never do, lol
I used G2 Caliper Paint kit (Black and Orange) and Powerstop Evolution Complete Brake Kit (K2815)

I like it ! It matches with the whole car ! How much did the paint go for ? Cause I'm looking to do the same.

Do you have two gorilla guard wheel locks? Very nice.
It looks better than just one random one that I have on each wheel.

LOL, funny you recognized that, yeah I have heard horror stories where if they want the wheels bad enough they will take all the lugs off except the one they can't and drop the vehcile and break the stud, so I figured probably won't break that easily with 2. I'm sure if they want it bad enough they can get it. But I just wanted to make it as hard as I could for them.

Looks great! Are those wheels 19's or 20's? And are you dropped?

No, it does. Lol. I just recently installed eibachs, and my car is still settling a bit. I'm just not very good yet at looking at people's wheels and knowing the size in order to judge what has/hasn't been done.

I like the pics man, my car is the same color. I just recently bought some wheel spacers, and am planning on painting my calipers when I have the wheels off to install the spacers. Still trying to decide on the right color, though. Not sure what will look right. Did you consider other colors as well?

Btw I also like the pics because when I eventually upgrade my wheels I plan on matching the color as close as possible to the car. I like that look with slate.

Yeah, I tried to look for something a little different to do, I actually started a thread here asking people for ideas on colors combinations, lol it was either what I did or all Black!! can't go wrong with all black, the nightmare was cleaning the calipers as the rear especially were all rusted, I was almost just gonna get remans and paint them in my leisure and swap them out! lol

Someone a month or so ago had a thread asking about what caliper paint color to get (maybe it was you). I piped in "have some fun, be adventurous, get something colorful and different, just don't get black, blah blah blah."

Now here I am wimping out and not wanting to do something colorful. Lol. I just don't know with metallic slate what else matches well. Maybe copper? Dark blue? Brick red? I don't know.

Anyway, sorry to distract from your thread. Looks way good man, I definitely am happy for you with the setup you've got. What's next?

I am toying with the idea of painting my grill the same color as the car and making the NISSAN letters in it orange like my calipers, just to add the orange into the front of the car and maybe the back too!
