HID low beam and fog combo
Recently, my father had to drive my Max someplace and he was pulled over twice this week at night. According to the officer, my lights were "too blue and fogs were too yellow and only emergency vehicles are permitted to have those types of lights." Thank god both were just warnings and I already have a feeling third time around I'll actually get a ticket. I had this set up for about 1.5 years never had a problem until now don't know why

But anyways, my low beam and fog light set up are 8K and 3K.
I'm wondering whats your headlight and fog combo so I can get ideas on how they look like and what temp for HID bulbs to buy when I get back from a business trip.
Post pics if you can. Thanks

I see that combo all the time here. Might want to read up on your state laws regarding this before changing anything. As you stated one could probably drive it like that for years without an issue.
Reason: It's just one of a number of tactic's LEO's will use to stop people (at night) while searching for DUI driviers....hence the reason no tickets were issued, wasn't what they were after.

I've never heard of being too yellow. I've heard too blue.
Thanks guys for the responses. Yeah thats what my boy told me. They were probably looking for DUI or high drivers. Still Im changing it when I get back from my business trip. Don't want to risk it and get a ticket. I already ordered 6K HID bulbs for my low and fog beams for $75. So now I'll be bright and clean as fack
the 8K and 3K setup wasn't bright anyways. I guess it's time for change
I'll be selling my pair of 3K bulbs for $40 soon so anybody want it, hit me up. Local pick up NJ/NY only. No problem with the bulbs. You guys reading this know why I want to get rid of it. I'll even test them in front of you to assure they are working.
