modded maxima vs stock !

be and my buddy went to a drag strip that my cousin owns 100% legal and ran our cars i have the amm competition cat back exhaust and k&n intake 69 typhoon series , of a roll he kept taking me by 2 cars , i have the 2013 sv with 10,000 miles on it he has the 2010 sv with 100,000 miles on it ... how is this possible !

The '10 was the last year they put in the the rear audio controls. There's a secret button that gives an extra 9.57 HP. Trust me - I measured it.

100k on the clock, car is worn in and at its peak power, 10k your engine is new, once you past 20-30k you should notice a power gain

All that crap you (me and everyone else) have on there is not doing you any favors without a tune. In fact its prolly hurtingRetune the ECU and try again.

But at least break in the car first. 10k miles ... Thing is barely out the door.

Jig's got it. Tune that baby up. But before tuning, I'd suggest a couple additional mods: intake manifold and throttle body spacers, maybe the RacingLine y-pipe, and from what I've heard the stillen under drive pulley is a good mod too. THEN, go tune it.

Either way, that's interesting and I'd love to get updates as you mod the car and the race it versus a stock maxima. Keep us posted!
