I want to upgrade my stock xenons

I have a 09 maxima sv sport package and i want to upgrade my hids for a more brighter look. I belive the stock are 4300k. I really like the white with a hint of blue look. Any suggestions

A 5000K would look good and it is not to blue.

I like 5K, but I went all out with 6K. It brings it out maxima. That's my opinion.

For the pure white look, I recommend the CBI bulbs (a little pricey but OEM quality): http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=10591

Otherwise you can go with the Morimoto and get the 5000K bulbs, they're still pretty good quality, almost OEM: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=1250

I have an extra set of 6k and 8k bulbs... If you are interested PM, I have run both in my headlights, 6k gives the best balance between looks and visibility... 8k is blue and less light at night... Currently I run 6k in head lights 8k in fogs...

Would the CBI bulbs be brighter than the stock? My only issue with them is that i don't feel like there is enough illumination on the road.

Not really, they'll be as bright as stock but with a whiter/bluer tint to them, the advantage with these is that with all other bulbs 5000K and above, you lose brightness due to their color temperature. If your stock HIDs aren't enough then you might want to get 55w D2S ballasts to replace your stock ones.

May I suggest something?

I have played with Xenons and HIDs previously in my BMW M3. I changed dozens of bulbs and ballasts to higher output ones. The final result will give you probably 15% extra light output, and nothing more.

You want to be have blinding beams? Get clear lens kit and swap our silly frosted lenses with clear lenses. You'll immediately find that the output has become sharper and better in range. A clear lens will give you a result like this..

Now The Retrofit Source (Clickable) do have clear lenses but I am not exactly sure about the fitting and replacement of our stock ones.

My 0.2$

I think this is the lens you're looking for, it's a direct fit for the Maxima HID and Halogen projectors.

Halogen: H11 bulb
HID: D2S bulb
Halogen/HID projector lens: 2.5"

For a first timer, it might seem like it, but it's really not that bad as long as you take the screws out of it before baking it. But relative to other headlights, ours is a delight to work with.

And here is the link to the lens from my previous post, not sure how I missed it not showing up.
