Hey guess I just bought my 2010 white maxima s yesterday and i'm looking to start doing some upgrades. Im really wanting to black out the top and found it on ebay to do so. I just didn't know if anyone had tried it or not. And I was wanting to upgrade my head lights and tail lights or just tent them. Just looking for help!!
Looking to slowly make it look more sporty/mean
Thanks

Welcome.

What did you mean that you "found it on eBay to do so?" Did you see someone else's setup on eBay? And "tent" the headlights?

Like you, I need to strategically save for my mods. Some mods aren't that expensive if you put the work in yourself though. Eibach pro kit improves the ride quality/handling and only costs $250-$300 depending on where you get it. And of course, plastidip is a nice way to temporarily paint over things like trim, grille, etc. Stillen lip is a nice add-on as well increasing that aggressive look the car has at certain angles. Oh well. Happy modding and hope the bug doesn't bite you too hard

do you want the film over you light or do you want the headlight painted. to get them painted it's going to require some baking. and if you're not comfortable baking your lights and tearing them apart, I suggest contacting Kmoney. he does great work

Welcome to the forum and congrats, I've came here and trust me the guys over here and all experts and always keen to help and share their experiences.

I'd say lose those 18" Rims and get the 19" Rims, It'll straight away make the car look better. Second, get a 50% Tint (It's not tent man btw, tent is for camping) I've got a my Maxi hooked up with 50% 3M IR Tint, looks mean. Third, install the genuine DRL kit (should be available at any dealer) and give your car a new look. Fourth, do a slight drop the ride and ask which is drop kit is the best (I haven't done that yet so cannot tell you)

enjoy the place!
