Recommendations for filling in rim damage
Recommendations for filling in rim damage
Hey my rims were touched up when I bought my car but I have two mystery scrapes on the outer edge of two different wheels and wondering if there's an at-home fix or a cheap service autobody shops provide.
I'm considering dipping them so even something to fill and smooth the scrapes out without a colormatch would work.

I am in the process of searching this forum for more information on this process as a whole. This thread is relevant to me, as are others. At this point, I am going to sand down the rash a bit, and then add some bondo, or other automotive filler...then sand that down...before applying paint.
What I need to know is what sort of pait for my specific rims? I have a 2012 SV Sport with the 19" rims that look like this.
