I bought the extended warranty from the dealer, and its called " AAdvantage".
Can anyone give me ups and downs for this type of warranty? ( good or bad experience s)

Generally speaking, after market warranties sold by the dealers are overpriced and unreliable. Suggest you buy only a Nissan contract and negotiate the price hard......there is no control over the pricing.
Or you can save the cash and pay for repairs as you go.

Also, think about high deductibles of your homeowners, auto, boat, etc.insurance and self insure the deductibles.

Good luck.

I don't believe it covers the cost of changing the CVT fluid. Which at my dealership costs about $250 dollars. I bought a similar warranty for $1200 dollars discounted from $2300 and it covers every nut and bolt on the car for 7 yrs or 100k miles over the miles on the car at the time of purchase. In this case I'm covered til I hit 133k miles.

I bought the Nissan plan to 75K miles. Worth every penny trust me, saved me about $4K this year alone (they had to drop the engine to fix a leaking head gas gasket/engine mounts).

So you failure occured between 60 and 75K miles ? Wouldn't the powertrain warranty cover the engine repairs to 60K miles
