Led light for glovebox

Changed the glovebox light and had to take everything apart to do so

Yeah I just took off the plastic cover too and turned it. Came out fairly easy.

Does your car have over 15k miles? Shoulda picked up a cabin air filter for $10 and put it in while you had that apart.

You don't need to do anything to the glove box to change the micro filter. It's actually accessible from the passenger side footwell. It's tuck up behind the center console.

I tried to pull the plastic I think I cracked it alittle will most likely order a new one just because I know it's like that.

My car only has 3000 miles so have not even changed the oil yet

I purchased the LED from EBAY on a budget always try to get any add on's at the best price:

I will say that they lost my first delivery and I received 2 LED's instead of 1 worked out pretty good

What a PITFA....got my trunk and gb from carid and the rest from ijdmtoy....very happy with ijdmtoy - easy to install, worked right away.

As for the set from carid, the trunk bulb was too thick and didn't fit correctly. I couldn't put the plastic cap back over it. Yes my '12 has a cover over the trunk light.

Now the glovebox really requires you to take the entire thing apart to properly install it. What a tease it was nice to first see a plastic cover that seemed to good to be true and pop off, nope cracked the plastic, but eventually it came off. Then I proceeded to push the female piece through trying to secure the LED.....ugh!

Writing this I'm hoping needle nose pliers will be able to grab it as to avoid having to remove the whole glovebox.....

Ok done venting lol

Should be pretty easy also to re-wire the little switch in the glove-box that turns the light on to the interior lighting so you don't need to have the damn headlights on to see in your glove box.
