Help! 09 Maxima Wheel making a clicking/grinding noise.

Hey guys, problem with my 2009 Max and was wondering if anyone could help. Ever since I rotated my tires a month ago my front drivers side wheel makes a clicking noise almost all the time. I can only hear it when the window is down and going less than 30. Sounds almost like a ratchet clicking. Anyone ever experience this and can help? The car is beautiful, but sounds like crap when I roll up places.

You probably have something in your ABS ring.
Take the wheel back off, check behind the rotor for debris.

Could possibly be a CV joint. Try it slow speed with windows down in a parking lot, and see if it gets better or worse on a left turn and then a right turn.

I am having this same exact problem on my 2010. Got new tires at Discount Tire and have had that clicking noise ever since. The noise doesn't go away or get worse during turning.

Finally got my maxima to the dealership, they said the cotter pins were loose. They replaced the cotter pins and tightened everything up. Fixed my problem.

They told me it was my wheel bearing. $450 later and the noise has been gone for a month. Maybe I got scammed? But regardless Im just happy the noise is gone.

I told the dealership to look at the bearings and they said they were fine and that the cotter pins were loose. The noise is gone and I hope it stays that way. My max is still under the original warranty until the end of the month so I wasn't charged. That noise was annoying

They changed the cotter pins on the front wheels. I know the noise was coming from the front drivers side but they changed both fronts.

Was having the same issue on my 10' and it has been a ridiculous experience with this visit to the dealer. Advisor said that both wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Thankfully my extended warranty covered it but on the left side the spindle knuckle seized up with the drive shaft and those need to be replaced as well. It's been a week and I am still waiting for my car....smh.
