Inlet/Outlet Sizes + Stillen Pulley Feedback

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I don't come on here too much anymore, been real busy with work! Anyways, I am getting bored waiting for the 2014 Nismo to come out, So I decided that I am ready to move forward and spend a little more money on the Maxima!!!

My Question for Everyone is:

What is the Inlet/Outlet sizes for our Mufflers? I was thinking about getting aftermarket mufflers and have no idea what size Inlet/Outlets we have and additionally whether its Center or Offset for both the Inlet, Outlet, or just one!

Oh, and if anyone has the Stillen Pulley System..I am interested on that feedback too. Probably going to pull the switch on everything Friday. Just need some help..for once

Thank You!

Inlet is 2.25". You can get 2" or 2.5" as we'll, because any comptemt shop can make them work. If you don't change the resonator on your car, you won't hear any change with new mufflers. It is still super quiet with the stock resonator. The outlet on our car is also 2.25", but has a 4"x5" oval tip in it. A center/center works best with a new muffler.

Stillen underdrive pulley is wonderful. Installed it a couple years ago. Hands down one of my best quiet power mods.

The car accelerates much quicker now than compared to stock. Installation is slightly difficult. Need a breaker bar or black steel pipe to help loosen the old crank bolt.

I cut off the stock mufflers, and put in two magnaflow mufflers. No sound change.
Cut out resonator, huge difference.

What magnaflow mufflers did you install? An felt power gains by just switching out the stock mufflers?I assume you got bigger exhaust tips too.

No felt change at all from taking out the resonator and changing mufflers. Only a noise difference. There is maybe a 2hp gain from that.

They are 4" round tips on the muffler, and the muffler is from their street series. I don't know what number it was. The factory tips are ~4x5"

Sorry for the long delay in reply. Thank you for all the information guys. I decided to use the money for the Stillen Pulley instead! Probably will get the Despoiler too.

Stillen pulley is an awesome mod. You will definitely feel the difference 0 to 40 mph. Goof luck with the install.
