well I've seen one thread where it says h11 is for the low beam and another thread that says D2S is the low beam bulb.

looks like I ordered the wrong bulb, cause my 09 Max is the SV premium package which uses Xexon bulbs.

H11 for Low Beams and Fogs, 9005 for High beams.

If your car came with stock HID's the bulbs on those would be D2S, if not you will need to get a H11 HID kit.

I need some help replacing my bulbs. I have factory hid but they're not very white light at all. I have the base model. I ordered DS2 bulbs fron amazon but they didn't fit at all. I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for whiter light.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe the S models came with HIDs but they come with halogen bulbs. You will have to order an H11 HID kit.

If anyone here want HIDS (any color) I have a guy that has HIDs with install ! 120.00. I have them on my MAX and their amazing ! No problems at all. The only thing is, you have to be in NYC ! You might able to get him to send a pair of lights to you ! It doesn't matter which one you want, he has them. Everything from LEDs to headlights, etc !

Hmm, from what I read, it sounds like you don't have the factory HID's. Especially if you have the base model, they still have projectors just Halogens! You'll need a whole kit, if that is true!!
