I'm curious if other 7th Gen Maxima owners have the issue I have or not. The read right portion of my driver's seat is rubbing against the center console, so every time I move the seat up or back, it's rubbing the console. There's a noticable area on the console that is not even black anymore where it's been rubbed so much. On the passenger side, there's a comfortable distance between then so no rubbing there. The only thing I could think of is that I had some warranty work about a year ago that involved removing the entire driver's seat, so wondering if it's not normal, I'm wondering if they are to blame.

Thanks for any input you may have!
Robert

Not mine either. At least 1/2 inch clearance.

Thanks for the replies....I'm thinking it's been that way ever since they worked on my seat and I am just now noticing it =/

Yes that's not even close to being normal, I'm surprised it still moves forward and back!!

I had the motor replaced in my drivers seat, (twice) and the tech doing it scratched my paint and didn't put the seat trim on correctly. I had to use the Nissan dealer that I don't really like because my seat wouldn't move. I'm getting my oil changed this Saturday and I'm taking my car to the dealer I bought it from. Hopefully they can correct the damage the last shop did.
