Good front sidemarker replacment bulbs?
So I recently replaced the parking/front turn signal bulbs in my 2010 Max with a pair of Silverstar Ultras, and now the shade of "amber" doesn't match the front sidemarker bulbs. I really like the look of the Silverstar Ultras (more of a deep orange), but sadly they don't make 2827's or WY5W's in that particular bulb. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might match up better?? I would PREFER a bulb that has a similar look as the Silverstar Ultras (a chrome-ish coating that flashes amber), but I would be totally fine with a "normal" orange/amber bulb, as long as the color of the light itself matched well. I'm also looking to swap out the rear turn signals so I wouldn't have the "egg yolk" look. Any suggestions there? Thanks for any advice!
Thanks for the suggestion. I had actually thought about doing that, but I didn't know if anyone had had the same experience. I may give that a try though...at least they won't be orange bulbs.
When do the side marker lights light up?? I just replaced mine and they don't ever light up. I check with headlights on, with just parking lights on, when signals flash, nothing. Is my fuse blown? Where is the fuse? All the other lights work fine but I don't remember ever seeing these lights lit up.
My girlfriend had a 2011 maxima and I just checked and hers comes on with her parking lights. I put led bulbs in my turn signals which on here they tell me are the wrong ones cuz my parking lots won't stay on solid they only flash. So that might have some effect on the smaller side marker bulbs working?
The side markers light up when your parking lights are on also when the headlights are on because your parking lights should be on also. If you replaced them with LEDs then you need to make sure the polarity is correct (Take the bulb out and put it in the other way). If you replaced with regular bulbs then check the fuse. Personally I took mine out because I didn't like how they look with 6k switch backs.
