New Tire Opinions

I am at 26k on my 2010 SV and am looking into getting a new set of tires and don't really know where to begin.

I drove an Audi A6 before purchasing the Maxima and all I used on it were Michelin Hydro Edge and they served me well.

I am thinking I would like to stick with the Michelin brand with the Maxima and ran across these:

Opinions?

Should I choose something other than Michelin? If so, why?

Thanks in advance!

I have used Continental DWS on my 5th gen and plan on doing the same with this car. I have heard good things about the Nitto's.

I used the pilot sports on my 6th gen and they worked great. A noticeable upgrade over the stock rsa's at the time. The tires held up over the seasons very well.

I've been extremely happy with my Michellins Primacy MX4V. Quiet, smoothe, excellent wet traction. 1200 installed with road hazard and lifetime rotating and balancing at a local shop.

I went through last winter with my Continental ExtremeContact DWS on my stock 18 wheels and plan to continue using them through this winter. It is a great tire set for all seasons with great wear, though admittingly, they are not "as fun" as my old Michelin Super Sport Summer Pilot tires - that is to be expected with All-Season's vs Seasonal tires.

Do you guys buy the tires online and have them shipped, or go through a local shop for them? If you buy online, where?

I always buy my tires from Discount Tire Direct or have a local company match their prices which they usually do.

I just bought a set of 245/40/19 Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS for the factory 19's. paid $920 installed from a local Firestone. Love the tires and drop in K&N I just got last week.

I purchased Cooper Zeon RS3-A from Dobbs Tire & Auto Center. Had good luck with Coopers before so thought I would give these a go. Only have about 1000 miles since the install, but so far I'm very happy with the ride.
