Speaker and head unit question

Hey guys,

So I got the 2013 Maxima S and the highs are just flat. I'm planning to change all 8 speakers to JL C2 series 3-way coaxial speakers and tap into stock harness with a LoC for the amp. I've seen previous posts with pics for the front 4" and 6x9's, but I couldn't find anything for the rear door speakers. My question is, does anyone know the depth of the rear door speakers? I'm wondering if the JL C2-650X will just fit in or will I need to buy spacers for them? Also I'm wondering once I work on this, and get everything up and running, does any know if there is a factory unlock code for the head unit? Or will it lock up at all once I start unplugging and tapping into the wires?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!

I don't recall having to worry about a factory unlock code. I also swapped out my door speakers, front and back, as well as the "tweeters". Here's what I used:
Polk DXi350
Sound Ordinance P-69
Pioneer TS-G1644R

Additionally, Crutchfield threw these in for the 6.5" speakers in the rear door.
Scosche speaker mounts

I don't know what the max depth of the rear door speakers is, but you'll likely have more than enough room. Both the front and rear factory speakers have this plastic spacer of sorts to bring the speaker away from the door frame, the factory 6.5 actually having them as a piece of the speaker.

The fronts (on the dash) aren't 4". Definitely 3". Here's some pics. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the rear doors (and I don't know why...).

Thanks Shipwreck, I'm gonna be stripping out my car tonight to get ready for tomorrow when my buddies come over to work on it. I did buy 4" JL's for the front tweeter part since it stated in the service manual that they were in fact 4", so hopefully I didnt screw myself lol. Thanks for the info though, I'll try to remember to take pictures and I'll post pics of all four pairs of speakers.
