i haven't really heard any exhaust on the 7th gen come close to the sound a G37 or 370z makes. if you want that exact sound you'd probably have to build a custom true dual exhaust. the best sound for the Maxima right now is the AAM by far if you want a bolt-on solution. very deep and powerful

Found this video a while back. According to the owner, he has the Racingline y-pipe and the Megan catback. IMO it's got a tad bit of rasp which makes it the most identical sound to a VQ35HR that I've heard to date. On top of that, this is with no load on his engine aswell. I'll be getting the exhaust soon to test out how it sounds on the street.

Never heard a (stock) Megan exhaust crackle like that.....to get that sound you'll need to delete the resonator as well my friend.

What's wrong with the stock exhaust, I think it sounds similar to infiniti. Best maxima exhaust they've ever had. I haven't thought of changing the exhaust at all and I'm into these kind of things

It's available as full catback for the 7th gen.
