Broken sway bar

Has anyone ever snapped their rear sway bar? I just had mine snap the other day and have no idea what would have caused it.

Any ideas?

Bad batch or maybe it was over torqued.

Where did it snap, in the middle or at the one of the ends? Post a picture if you can.

Wow. Ya, would love to see a pic. At least this is a good opportunity to upgrade to an aftermarket part which will perform better than OEM. I have the one from RacingLine and really like it. Many on here have the stillen one and like it also. They're equally good and worth the upgrade.

Agree that this would be a good time to switch to an aftermarket one. I also am interested in seeing some pictures.

It snapped on the out side of the passenger d clamp. Broke right in two. Got a stillen one in Tuesday and just installed it Took 2.5 hours.
