Are TSB performed for free after the factory warranty has expired? I have a 2010 Premium (I am the original owner) I have had multiple repairs done under warranty to the dual panel sunroof. Now at 45k miles and 42 months of owner ship the sunroof is rattleing again. There is a specific TSB for this issue which was performed on my car at one point in the past. I haven't contacted the dealership yet. If these aren't typically done for free outside of the warranty period; does anyone have advice for requesting a goodwill repair from a dealership or directly from nissan consumer affairs?

If there is a tsb out on the repair and the dealer has the car under federal laws they have to fix it at no cost to you regardless of miles etc .
I had a Subaru txt turbo back in 1989 with over 100000 miles on it and it had a recall on the lower control arm which they found out when they ran the vin number which they have to do .

All recalls have TSB's

Not all TSB's have a recall.

I believe a non recall TSB is only good ( for free) while the car is under warranty otherewise the dealer ( and therefore the manufacturer) would be fixing issues for free on cars a decade old or more

a TSB is not a recall. its instructions for how to solve a particular problem. has absolutely nothing to do with warranty claims. some TSB's if they are wide-spread enough become a recall or something that Nissan reimburses for.
