Thumbs up Introduction - Hello Everyone

I just got a 2014 Maxima SV Sport in Ebony with the illuminated kick plates and under vehicle LEDs. I'm coming out of a 2006 Jaguar XJ8. To be honest, the Maxima is the only car out there that really interested me. I agree with everyone out there that the styling is still very relevant and was ahead of its time. I'm really looking forward to the next generation but I'm pleased the current generation styling is better looking than most cars out there. It's a great value too. I'm still trying to get used to the FWD though. Anyway, I've been hanging out here for the last month and finally got around to registering. I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone out here. Here are a few pics. Mods so far: Rear debadged, No front plate.

Congrats and welcome.

I agree with your assessment of the 7th gen's styling.
Just yesterday I saw a gentleman walking around my car while I exited the local grocery store.
I made the mistake of asking him what he thought the car was (my car is de-badged) and he said an Altima.
I told him politely that he was mistaken and that I would spare him a beat-down for that remark.
We spent another 5+ minutes discussing the Maxima. He said he was looking at getting a car for his son and I told him he couldn't go wrong with the 7th gen Maxima.

That's because everyone and their mother drive an Altima. I went out earlier to the store for literally 5 min and saw 2 Altimas in a row. There's no mistaking the flagship Maxima. From the buldged rear fenders, aggressive stance, and build quality and materials... this car is anything but an Altima. The Altima looks nice because it takes cues from the Maxima but get it right... it's a Maxima, Lol.

Great choice...I may be a little biased but.....

Wow, must be somewhat of a big difference coming from an XJ8! My folks used to love those! They were nice, but kinda old looking to me lol. The new one's are butter though...

Welcome! The more I see that color with the dark rims, and the dark tail lights, the more I'm liking it.
