LED blinking problem

My License plate LEDS are acting up. One just blinks.. I take it out and put it back in and its good, for a day then starts to blink again.. I just ordered new lights hopefully that's the problem. Anyone experience the same? Could this turn out to be a trip to the dealer (hope not)? Is there a proper way to instal these light?

I had the same problem with my footwell LED bulbs. They would flicker randomly. It was caused by a slight misalignment of the contacts on the bulb with the contacts in the socket. Pull the bulb out and bend the contacts into the correct position so they make good contact inside the socket.

If that doesn't solve the problem then the bulb is probably shot.

agreed.

Misalignment or just cheap LEDs not making good contact.
