Installed some HID's and there's a beam of light somewhat in the middle the keeps catching my eye, almost like its brighter than everywhere else. I wanted to try adjusting the headlights to see if it goes away. Are the screws to adjust easy to get at?

 

Those are the "squirrel finders", some people who crack their headlights open decide to block it, some don't; I did.

Here's what the front of the projector bowl looks like behind the lens and you can see the hole in the shield from where that light comes from.


And here's back of it and you can see why it's not as intense as the rest of the output from the projector, it just a light reflection off of that metal piece.

 

Thanks for the info, and I see what your saying, which answers another question I had. Aiming may not even be the issue, in the pics below if you look at the center of the right light, its super bright and at a decent distance it just sticks out more as if its brighter than everywhere else. Anyway its not a big deal, Im actually more concerned about the left bulb, its a bit dimmer and you can sort of see the color difference in the pics. Also if you look at the center of the left bulb, it almost looks like something is blocking a part of the light. If you look close in one of the pics you can see the markings of the wall right in the center but no where else. Just seams like something aint right.

 

The bulb in the left projector does not look to be seated corrected or the glass tube of the bulb itself may not be seated correctly on the base which would be a manufacturing issue. If you're using the halogen projectors then I recommend using the Morimoto H11 bulbs from TRS.
