Heated Seat Question
Heated Seat Question
Whats up guys, I have a couple questions. I just bought a set of black leather seats and center console out of the same year Maxima as mine. I installed everything yesterday. Everything looks great and is working correctly except the heated seats. My car had the cloth non heated seats before so I am wondering if I am just missing a relay and/or fuse for the heaters. The lights on the heated switches do not come on when you turn the switch to hi or low but they do illuminate with the rest of the interior lighting. Can someone tell me the location of the relay and fuse for the heated seats? Thanks
I don't know if there is a relay for the seats, but the fuse for my heated seats is in the engine compartment fuse box, 15A, top fuse on the left hand row of fuses. It's shown on the fuse diagram listed on the inside of the fuse box cover.
Since your car came without heated seats, you could have a totally different layout of your fusebox, or you could have the same fuse box with that piticular fuse missing from it's slot.

Thanks for the response. I found the fuses for the heated seats. One is in the engine bay and the other is in the fuse box inside the car by the hood release. I put 15A fuses in both but still no luck. I'm thinking there is a relay somewhere I'm missing. I vaguely remember reading a post saying it was behind the radio somewhere? Does anyone know the location of the relay?
