Question for anyone with the ebay spoiler

Definitely no complaints with it at all, just had my buddy install it which took him about an hour and he couldn't get the the points of the spoiler which aim at the rear window to sit completely flush with the trunk. The pressure from tightening the screws just caused it to lift a bit. Anyone else deal with this or have a way to make it sit closer to the trunk? Either way, for $100 I'm happy with it.

How close is close? I have an OEM installed spoiler installed when the car was made and my corners are raised enough where I can just get 4 sheets of regular notebook paper under it for about 3 inches. I can push the corners down to where it touches the trunk lid but it springs back. I know water can get under those 3 inches on the corners, but there hasn't been any problems for almost 6 years so I'm not concerned about it.

Ok, maybe thats just how it is and yea Im not worried about water damage, I forgot what he used to seal the holes but thats not my concern, just didn't know if there was any tip on getting it to sit better. It's really not that bad.
