At what point do you...

Get down on a full body touchup or paint? I live in New England and that means rocks. Bumper and hood chips, plus everyone I let ride seems to find a way to chip/scrape the flats of the passenger-side doors. Add a couple chips to the edges of the doors (thanks to coat zippers and buttons) and you have an OCD man's nightmare.

I reached the point where I've turned my attention from all that trouble to loving what's inside, but part of that is because in the back of my mind I'm telling myself I'll have everything touched up one day... When is that day?

Sincerely,
A guy wishing he had a garage and lived where it don't snow.

If it bugs you, get it painted and then pay the extra for a clear-bra to be put on the front bumper cover fronts of the side mirrors and halfway up the hood. I've had my front end repainted once already from rock chips and kinda wishing I just spent more and got the clear bra too..

My next move is to do it, had the car for like 3 years and have had 2-3 paint jobs all insurance covered , I'm getting the clear bra next. I also seen that there is a spray on version u can get at autozone. I don't know if it's any good.
