2013 370Z Wheels Problem

Hey guys, so I installed a set of 2013 370Z wheels on my 7th gen yesterday. Since the install I notice a very distinct issue. When i hit a bump on the road my car jerks/swerves from left to right 2 or 3 times really fast. It happens on almost any bump. It is bad enough that if i have correct the steering wheel almost every bump..I know for sure it is not a balancing issue because it only happens when i hit bumps..I know alot of members have installed 370z rims on there Maxima. The 2013 Rays are the same specs as the older ones btw and also im running stock 370z tires (245,275) as I rolled my fenders to make the rear fit. I am also on eibach springs and did not have this issue with my previous wheels. Anybody have any input or advice to what this problem could be? Any of you guys with the 370Z rims experience this or is it just me?

The problem is the 275 in the rear. Should be 245 all around. Doesn't look as good but it fixes the problem that you're having which I believe is oversteer.

There are several people running a staggered setup, & I've never heard of their cars doing that.

My car did that - Alignment shop found it was a toe issue. Might want to check it out.

Also, make sure the tires are mounted correctly, especially if they are directional, and you have them on the correct side of the car.

Reading this has made me realize I may have made a mistake. I just put a staggered set up on my car as well 20 inch 275 in rear 245 up front. I ordered the eibach

Woops hit send by accident. At any rate I ordered the eibach pro kit last night and now reading this do I need to roll the rear fenders to make everything fit? Concerned as I didn't anticipate doing body work.
Can someone please verify this for me so I know what I got myself into?
I'd really appreciate it. Thank you

Sounds like a suspension or an alignment issue. Did you install anything at all besides the wheels? I'd like to see more pics of your Max.

People have run staggered here without this issue so it cant be the wide tires.....Im going to try an alignment and check my air levels..i didnt think of an alignment because my other stocks wheels didnt do this but maybe the wider wheels made it more noticeable...ill report back asap and will post
More pics later

I have encountered this alot with suvs when we put bigger wheels and tires on. In many cases a good thorough alignment saves the day. I wouldn't be too worried. The staggered set up looks really nice. Well done!

thanks for the help guys ! An alignment solved the issue. I never got one after installing the eibach springs because it rode fine with the stock wheels. So its a lesson learned wider tires and rims makes a bad alignment 10 times more noticable !!

He stated it in his previous post...245 front & 275 rear...most likely the rear is a 10-10.5 inch wide rim so in order for it to fit without rolling the fenders the offset has ro be around 40 or higher

Racer box. They are rohana rc10's 20x9 front and 20x10 rear with 245 35 20 on front 275 30 20 on rear and I am unsure of the offset.

Pretty sure will need the rears rolled. Depending on offsets you might want spacers in the front.

And to the OP a 20mm spacer up front will get you flush with 1.5 degrees neg camber. That's what I have

I have those same wheels and tires. The offsets are 35 & 40.

So what exactly does rolling the fenders entail? Sorry I'm new to this

Usually bending them in for tire clearance but could also include cutting

You shouldn't have to roll fenders to throw the rays on.

Eibach pro kit says it only drops car 1.4 inches and there's so much clearance now I'm hoping it just works with no mods. Wish someone did the same thing and could say ya it fits.
Anyways thanks for the feedback and if anyone has any more feedback please offer.
