Eibach Springs - Rear Toe Issue

So I recently installed my Eibach Springs and got an alignment. The tech who did my alignment said he could not get my rear toe in spec. He was able to get the front camber and toe and rear camber in spec. I thought it should be opposite that they could get the toe in spec but not the camber. Does this guy not know what he is doing or is he right? I don't want to purchase any other camber kits or bolts because I don't mind a little bit of camber but I can not have the toe out of spec because it will destroy my tires. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sometimes when trying to adjust the camber into spec it will throw the tow out due to the geometry in the rear.
I have that issue on my right rear. So I settled for an "in spec" toe and a slight "out of spec" negative camber.
Also running 27mm rear spacers which doesn't help.

So I have to tell him do negative camber to get the toe in spec?

Yes, as long as the neg camber isn't excessive. Another option is to use the 350Z rear camber arms. I have a set of these installed and still can't get my RR to come into camber, left is fine

Yeah I know. I even watched him adjust the camber on the right side, almost as soon as he achieved acceptable camber...the toe would go out. He fought it back and forth.
And without some kind of existing damage it makes me wonder about the consistency of the sub structure tolerances.

When you put the new control arms in the rear did you also put the lager toe adjusters? http://spcalignment.com/component/sp...AFrom&to=USATo

Toe wears tires much quicker than camber. Here's my specs. I did it this way for handling and flushness.

Get your toe in spec don't worry about camber to much, an out of tolerance toe will wear your tire faster then an out of tolerance camber.

You know that's actually a very good question as I used the Ichiba arms and they looked to use a similar cambolt size as stock.
I now need to figure out if the SPC bolts are different than the Ichiba's
Still bugs me that I obtained alignment on the left though....

Wait do you need "the spc bolt" to put on the Ichiba's camber kit I got?

Did they elongate the opening for the toe bolt?

I installed the Ichiba arms myself and I didn't need to elongate the holes on either side.
Left side is within spec with the right side slightly out (neg camber).
I need to check out the larger SPC cam bolt kit. Doe anyone know if the SPC bolts will fit the Ichiba arms?

the Toe bolts don't go in the aftermarket arms. They go in a diff hole where the spring bucket bolts to the subframe.

Alright, so SPC's description (from the website) for the bolts is as follows.
Comments:
These cams (set of 2) replace the OE camber and toe adjustment cams and provide additional camber & toe changes. Adjustment slots will need to be elongated using 85130 rotary files or equivalent.
So without viewing the video (showing the lower link) it's easy to assume that they are referring the bolt use on either the lower link or the camber arm or both especially if the bolt diameters are the same.
Remember, at either location you are affect BOTH camber and toe adjustment. You just affect more of the toe at the lower link and more of the camber at the arm.

You will see from this video that they are applying it to the lower link and not the camber arm.

It's the bolt that attaches the spring bucket arm to the subframe

Wow yeah the shop I went to had no idea. First off they broke the toe bolt because they didn't know you had to install the bolt on the frame like one the video... am I screwed?
