I have a 2009 maxima that has been running very good till yesterday. It started fine then when it was put in gear it died. Now when you crank it it will hardly run. And when you put it in gear it will die. I checked the codes and it gave me a multiple cylinder misfire and cylinder 3 misfire code. Any suggestions? I was thinking a coil but it is almost running to bad to be one coil. And I think it would be weird for more than one to go out at the same time.

I would pull the spark plug and inspect. Then swap coil or plug (not both) with adjacent cylinder. See if the problem moves to new cylinder or stays. This way you will know what the issue is, i.e. spark plug or coil.
Replace as necessary.
The PITA maybe that #3 is one of the back cylinders, so you will have to pull intake manifold.
