Unhappy Driver's Seat moving

Hi all, I am a new 2014 Max SV owner (premium & tech package), and I am having a weird feeling in the driver's seat. When I take off from a stop or hit the gas kind of hard to accelerate, it feels like the seat has a lean to it. the seat bottom seems to lean up, and the seat back leans back. Its kind of annoying, so I took it to the dealer I bought from, thinking that with only 1000 miles, this has got to be something simple to fix. The dealer had a tech look at it for only about 5 min, and said it was torqued to spec, and that it was nothing wrong. Anyone else had this issue? I am going to take it to another dealer and have them check it.

For 7th gens, there seems to be a lot of people with the rocking seat issue. From what I've read the seat frame needs to be replaced to fix it. Your dealership probably just doesn't want to fix it for you for free. If you fail at another dealership go back and keep insisting that they fix it under warranty. Read through the forums here and you'll see what others have gone through.

Cant believe this is still happening on '14 models. Pretty common issue. I'm sure your dealer knows all about it and for some reason is blowing you off.

I had the same thing on my '13 SV Sport and it was diagnosed as the seat frame like others have already mentioned. Mine is now fixed, however in the process the dealer left some nice gouges in my plastic trim which they are going to replace for free. Gotta love having to go back from something stupid that they did.

I had the same issue with my 2010 Murano (33k miles) and my 2010 Maxima (52k miles). In both vehicles they had to replace a broken lower seat frame. In my Maxima they really gouged up the paint in the door frame and didn't put the plastic side trim on real good either. I had to take it back to them 2 times to fix the other things they messed up. I too would have thought this would not be an issue in any car after the 2012 model year.

Yeah, I don't get a good vibe from this dealership in the service department. I am going to take it to another dealer, as this should be well documented now. For a month old car, I am really disappointed to have this issue, but other than that, I have been extremely happy with my purchase. I have had 3 2.5 Altimas (2005, 2008, 2012) prior to my Max, and I can really see the night and day difference between them.
