Need help, fuel filler door
#3
Can't say I've had this problem or seen it before... My only problem with the fuel door was trying to get it open before. I'd turn off my car, get out of it, close the door, and go to open the fuel door only to find it wouldn't open.
Come to find 10 minutes later, as soon as I'd get out, my mother sitting in the passenger seat would lock the doors when I got out (for safety reasons), thus preventing the fuel door from opening.
Anyway, hope you find a solution op.

Im not 100% on a 2010 but if you have the lever beside the seat to release the gas filler flap/door check to see if the cable is moving freely and that the piece on the right side beside the gas cap that catches the metal tab on the fuel filler door is not pushed back or stuck in the hole. If so usually spraying a little penetrating oil there will free it up while pulling on the lever beside the seat a few times also check to see that the metal piece on the fuel door isn't bent preventing it to catch the tab to the right side of the gas cap. Hope this makes sense as it can be a little easier to describe with pics.
