Questions about the sound system

I have a 2012 SV Sport that had the backup camera deleted, so I have no monitor and the 6 disc in dash. I have a couple of questions. The subs in the back window say Bose on them, but I thought the Bose system was only with the upgraded sound system, is that wrong? Also I burned some CDs in iTunes and made sure when I burned them I included the track information, but the screen does not display the track names/artists it just says track 01, etc. I am very disappointed in that, even the cheap system in my Cruze gave the track name/artist. Does anybody know if it gives that info on any CDs or if I burn an MP3 cd, or is that just not a feature this system features?

It does display track information for regular CDs, it just depends on how you burn them. But it's 2014, MP3 CDs all day everyday so you can get more than just one album on there and it displays all relevant information from the ID3 tags on there like Album title, Artist, Title, Folder name, and I think a couple other things.

Thanks, since I use iTunes making mp3 cds is a pain since I have to convert them first. I will give that a whirl though.

iTunes has a built-in MP3 encoder to convert your CD's .aac files or whatever other audio format you have in bulk with the ID tags (artist, album, title, etc.) still intact.

Yes, I did end up doing that, but its a major pain, especially when you have over over 40k songs like I do. This is the first time I have made an MP3 cd and I was disappointed that the same reason why I don't like using my iPhone/iPod occurs with MP3 cds, and I figured it would. I hate the huge variance in volume between songs. I like to listen fairly loud, so when you get a song that is louder or quieter then the last one you have to constantly adjust the volume. You don't have to do that with traditional cds.

Understandable, and you answered the initial question that I had of why you were not using the aux or streaming through Bluetooth for the audio. Have you looked into an app that equalizes the volume whether it is a separate music player or standalone app? I do not own an iPod or iPhone, but the Samsung Galaxy S4's stock music player allows me to equalize the volume although I do not use it as it lacks functionality. I suppose I've gotten use to adjusting the volume and whatnot.
