Leather Seat Repair
Hopefully you guys can help! I have a 2010 Silver Maxima with the Tech and Premium packages. I believe the Premium package has the upgraded leather. Anyway..I had someone get into my passenger seat and whatever they were wearing scratched the side lumbar portion of the upper seat back. The leather is charcoal gray. The scratches aren't deep where it sliced the leather but nonetheless it's certainly noticeable. Does anyone know if there is a product that you can buy that will fill and dye the leather back to normal? I live in the Philadelphia suburbs so if there is not a product on the market, does anyone know of a good leather repair shop? I really appreciate any help and feedback you can provide!!

I fixed my girlfriends camry leather seats. What you describe is very fixable.
You will #2 from the below page

and you will need a can of the SEM aerosols below

You will also need something like this which you may have at home. Its for the application of #2 compound. You can't just apply it with your finger or a knife.

pointed pallette knife - 7.99
N2 will cover the scratch perfectly so it is not detectable when you run your finger through it. Thats the good news. The bad news is that matching the gray color without those instruments for color matching is damn near impossible. You can get the color code for the outside paint, but not for the seats. You can call those guys from this website and ask them to recommend the closest gray. Some of those are premade to match exactly your car, but they don't have it for nissans.
All in all, you the rest of your interior is in top shape, I recommend going to a professional shop for the fix. Only they can make it invisible. I fixed some terrible cuts to the extent that you can't feel where the cut was when you run your finger, but the painting was never a match even though I tried a lot of things. It was still satisfactory on her 99 camry, but on your maxima.. you decide.

Thanks guys. I stopped by a detailer shop and he told me that they would dye the leather where it is damaged. I feel more comfortable taking it to a professional where they work on high end cars.
