Went Dippin

Decided to dip the chrome trim, handles, emblems, etc before the wheels and suspension arrives. Some crap phone pics. Sorry they are big as hell.

Looks nice! What wheels and suspension are you getting? Maybe I'll run into you on the road one of these days since you're in NoVA too

Looks good. So those are plasti dipped? Did you take the door handles and chrome off? Will the plasti dip hold up? I'm considering painting my handles and the rest of the chrome but like the idea of being able to easily remove the plasti dip if I do not like it.

Nope, I didn't remove anything. With my customers cars, i make sure i mask off everything well so i don't have as much over spray clean up, but with mine i didn't mask anything except for the brakes . With the door handles make sure yea really try to get behind the handle as much as you can. If you don't it will start to peel from you opening your door and just wind/rain/car washing. When doing the rear trunk garnish MAKE SURE you cover the Camera as well as your license plate lights. Also make sure you use heavy coats after your 2nd or 3rd pass. The heavier the dip is, the longer it will last and the easier for you to peel access dip off. (Use Goo-Gone for any areas with over spray). Works like a charm.
