How much time did it take you before you started modding your new car. LOL Funny Post

So while I am new to the Maxima I am not new to the Nissan platform. I have spent the past 9 years commuting a 05 Altima 3.5L SE. That I kept because it is such a good car. Not missing a beat I was gunning to make my Maxima just like it. LOL I bought it less then 2 weeks ago. It has less then 400 miles on it. From the dealer I went straight to the Window tinting shop. The next day I put on a set of 20X8 Devino wheels and installed 3 10" Rockford Fosgate subs keeping all the factory hardware in place. Yesterday I installed the one option I didn't get on my car that I wanted "mud flaps" and a K&N Typoon intake. Starting tonight after work I have a Magnaflow exhaust and a set of Eibach prokit springs. HAHAHAHA

So fair the only thing I am going back to are the black 18" wheels the car came with. I am going to keep my eyes peeled for a great deal on a set of factory 19" sport wheels. The 20"s are affecting my gas mileage and honestly Chrome rims against my Pearl whites doesn't pop like black/gun metal wheels.

Love this car otherwise and simply reminds me of a grown up Altima. HAHA

I'd say it all depends on what you want to do with the car personally. I started modding mine the same day I brought both of my Maxima's.

What paint code did u get for the mud flaps? Might just be the painted plastic but the color looks off in the pic

LOL No worries guys, paint is an exact match. The picture does make the rear look off. Car was dirty and I actually just washed the areas where the mud flaps went. HAHA I finished the springs yesterday and the car is visiting the muffler shop in the morning. Now that it is lowered I am starting to like how it looks. Something about lowering a car really changes the look for me.
