So I just installed the CXJ spacers and I love it, but idk if I need to reprogram something. In second gear around 5,000 rpm the light will flash and feel like the car loses power then goes again. Any suggestions!

is the fluid near the lower line? sometimes driving if i floor it uphill the car squats enough that the brake fluid would dip below the sensor and only go off when i let off the throttle. topped it up a bit and problem solved

Unless you have a leak in the brake line system your fluid level should remain the same except for Brake pad wear. As your pads wear down the fluid level will drop. It may be time for new pads but in the meantime you can just add a little fluid to prevent the light from coming on.

Hey Jmaxx11 i had the same issue last month when i put my spacers on too. Reset the ecu and do exactly as the last page of the cxjs state for relearning. Then fill up the brake fluid as the members said below. Ive had no issues ever since. For me, the traction light came on and locked the power down on the car. I seriously was being outrun by a moped. Crazy stuff but car is fast as lightning now. Its NOT the spacers trust me.

Yep. The 'brake fluid low' sensor is at one end of the brake fluid reservoir, so can be triggered by sudden shifts of the brake fluid. At which time the sensor turns on the brake light and/or the traction light and sometimes the VDC light on the dash until the fluid returns to level and contacts the sensor again. This is usually only a second or two.

The good thing is that the brake fluid for the Maxima is a standard type available at any convenience store for two bucks. It is recommended that, once the can has been opened, the fluid not used should not be kept long before discarding.

ABS would only be an amber light because its not needed for base brake function, red dash light means somethings needs attention immediately

Mine was doing this about 3 weeks ago on my 2011. Had the brakes and oil checked, brakes were at 15% and reservoir was close to fill. Since winter coming and I got 80k miles out of those brakes I just changed them. Once done the reservoir was back up to normal, your brakes are probably getting close to end of life cycle is the issue more than likely.
