racingline strut bar install help!

New to the forum. I recently just purchased the racing line strut tower bar for my 2011 maxima sv sport. Having an issue with the bilts threading into the upper mounts. The longer bolts given to you would not thread for more then 2 turns. Other bolts fit in for only about 5 turns before stopping. I did not want to force and cause a strip. Has anyone run into this issue? There were no movement in the struts. Thank you

I had a hard time with it as well. Definately harder to install than any FSTB on my other Maximas. I eventually got it installed after I kept at it, but it was not fun.

A few people have posted their experience with the steering being too loose. I did install the rear sway bar and endlinks recently. The front still feels loose to my liking. Anyone had installed a strut bar and noticed any difference? I don't suspect it would since there is a stock reinforcement in that area already. Just curious.

It's more of a cosmetic mod...as you stated, there's already a factory one in place. I got a good deal on mine, so that's why I went with it.
