Brake Light On Dash

I notice about a week to 10 days ago that the brake light on my dash came on for roughly 2-3 seconds. I figured it was cold out or the fluid moved around throwing the light. Then again today the same thing happened it was on for about 2-3 seconds. I believe I was actually in the same area as the first time on the way to work. I have a 2014 SV Sport/Tech, it is 6 weeks old and has 1,115 miles on it.

If yours is anything like mine, my nav will actually detect what the speed limit is on the road and if im still accelerating past it, it will throw me a brake light. I dont see any other reason you should be getting that light if its that new, only thing i can think of is that or tire slipping (traction).

Is the place you get the light on a slight up or down grade? If so, it may be that the brake fluid was not topped correctly when you bought it, which, when the fluid rushes to one end of the reservoir, will trigger that light. Be sure the brake fluid level is at the full mark when the car is on reasonably level ground.
