USB not working.
Hey guys I tried looking for a Thread about this but couldn't find any real help but my USB port stopped working a couple days ago I thought it was my iPhone cable but when I purchased a new one and it didn't work that's when I figured it out that it was the port. Now can I just replace the port if I wanted to? Or would this be a job for the dealership? Any input would be appreciated thanks!

I haven't heard of the USB port actually going out but I had a similar problem with mine. I'd tell you to check the port to make sure there's no dirt, debris, etc inside of it. Mine stopped working due to some lint that got inside of the port.
Another thing you may want to check is the connector on your iPhone. Somehow the connector on my phone started to go bad. So I had to wiggle the wire a certain way in order to get it to work. You may also wanna try an actually USB flash drive to see if it's actually the port that went bad.
Other then what I listed worst case scenario you'll actually have to take it to the dealer. I hope what I listed was actually the problem & not the whole port going bad.

Nice! Glad it worked out for you.
Mine acted up before, but the only way I got it to work was to cut the power to the stereo...I guess this reset the stereo, and that's all it took. I could have just unplugged the fuse, but I disconnected the positive cable from the battery. I needed to add a battery terminal anyway.

Thanks for the tip
You guys just saved me a trip to the dealer and probably some serious bucks. Gave it 3-4 shots of canned air and my USB port is back working like a champ!!! Just wanted to say thank you.

Just faced the same issue with my USB Port. Wouldnt charge, would'nt show/connect as Aux Device. Looked dead.
I removed audio fuse...it came right back
I have since faced the issue intermittently, and was worried i would have a chronic issue and pulling that fuse.
But it has managed to get working again on its own after i power the stereo on and off, and unplug the IPod couple times, its been coming back.
