Iphone 6 bluetooth
First off android trolls get a hold of yourself..
When I got my 6 my phone pairs and will make a call but there is no audio at all. Anyone else have this issue and might know the fix? I know it's not iOS 8 because my 5s worked fine.

Did you by any chance have a previous Iphone paired to your max? A buddy here at work had somewhat the same issue....his solution.. 1.) Remove all remembered or legacy pairings on both the maxima and your phone 2.) Rename the connection to something like CAR or Maxima (anything but iphone) 3.) Reset the phone with the home and restart button (you may have to repair at this point) 4.) Reset the network connection (I admit I didn't understand why reseting the network after the phone but these are his procedures!!! He says he hasn't had a issue since.
Edit: He just came back to my office and mentioned he found a cnn report on this...http://money.cnn.com/2014/09/24/tech...one-bluetooth/
I haven't read it yet but he says you and he weren't the only ones to experience this issue.

6+. I only use it for Bluetooth streaming though because I've had issues since day one of owning the car with the Bluetooth phone calls. Tried with several phones (iOS and android) and all have the same problem of working fine for 30 seconds before the person on the other end just cuts out. As in, I can't hear them anymore. Call is still active and they can hear me, but I don't hear them until I switch in the phone off of the car connection and just hold it up to my ear.

I did remove the pairing from phone and car, I've heard the network settings thing that would be really odd if that does anything. I work for Att and have done this stuff for years. I'm just stumped by this, also our cars are Bluetooth calling only right? I was under the impression things like Bluetooth streaming such as pandora or from the iPod is not possible? I use the aux cable only for that..

No problem
I have a iphone 6 paired with my max. No problems at all except every once in a while, the audiobook I'm listening to will skip. I'm guessing it might be when I'm near another bluetooth device and it's interference.

2010 Gen 7: I was having dropped connection issues with the iPhone 5 but no trouble whatsoever with the 6. I do not think you are pairing the phone correctly. You have to pair the phone twice. Once for phone and once for Music/audio. The music pairing requires you to set a pin and then enter that pin in your phone during the pairing process.
Read over the pairing process in the manual.
