So Im having an issue with my 7th Gen and I wanted to see if anyone here has had this problem before and could point me in the right direction. It usually happens on a cold start in the morning but lately its been popping up more and more. What happens is when I start the car before driving to work my emergency brake light comes on and stays on until I take my foot off the gas. Once it goes off my traction control light comes on and stays on the entire trip or until I turn off the car.

Anyone know what could be the issue. Ive only had the car since this past July and I just hit 60k so my warranty is toast. I pray its nothing serious

 

Have you checked your brake fluid?

 

I haven't lately, but I just found out it does the same thing on hills as well.

 

Check the fluid, top off with new fluid if needed and report back

 

added brake fluid and its good 2 go now
